China's Shenzhou XVII manned spacecraft to be launched at 11:14 a.m.
At 11:14 a.m. Beijing time on October 26, 2023, China's Shenzhou XVII manned spacecraft will be launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The astronauts on this mission include: Tang Hongbo, Tang Shengjie, and Jiang Xinlin, with Tang Hongbo serving as the commander.
The main tasks of China's Shenzhou XVII manned spacecraft are: to implement the astronauts out of the cabin activities and cargo airlock module out of the cabin tasks, continue to carry out space science experiments and technology tests, carry out the platform management routine work, the astronauts to protect the relevant work, as well as popular science education and other important activities.
It is understood that Tang Hongbo once participated in the Shenzhou XVII manned space mission, and is currently China's first astronaut to participate in two flight missions.
Shenzhou XVII spacecraft is China's development of Shenzhou spacecraft series of a new model, inherited the general layout and structure of the previous model, the technical state is basically the same, according to the mission and product development needs, some of the technical state of the change, which carries the Chinese development of the Long March 2F Remote XVII launch vehicle.
