Three astronauts land safely, China's Shenzhou XVI crew returns to earth
At 20:37 Beijing time on October 30, 2023, the manned spacecraft Shenzhou XVI successfully separated from the Chinese space station assembly.
Before the separation, the Shenzhou 16 crew carried out a work handover with the Shenzhou 17 crew, completing the exchange of on-orbit work experience and the transfer of materials and samples.
On the morning of October 31, 2023, the manned spacecraft Shenzhou XVI returned to Earth and the three astronauts landed successfully, welcoming home astronauts: Jing Haipeng, Zhu Yangzhu, and Gui Haichao, who had been on a business trip to the Chinese space station.
